Hearts 4 Minds Announces #ChalkItUp4Life Campaign to Spark Mental Health Conversations This May

Jacksonville, FL – April 30, 2024 – Hearts 4 Minds, a leading mental health advocacy organization, has launched the #ChalkItUp4Life campaign to raise awareness and spark open conversations about mental health throughout May, Mental Health Awareness Month.

A Creative Approach to Mental Health Awareness:

The #ChalkItUp4Life campaign encourages individuals of all ages to participate in a fun and accessible way. We're turning sidewalks into canvases and conversations into communities. Why Chalk? Because mental health matters for everyone, of all ages! It's a fun and accessible way to spread awareness, spark open conversations, and break down stigma. Participants are encouraged to use chalk to write positive messages about mental health on sidewalks, public spaces, and community boards.

Campaign Goals:

  • Reduce stigma: By normalizing conversations about mental health, the campaign aims to create a more supportive environment for everyone.

  • Increase awareness: The campaign will distribute free green chalk and leverage social media to share mental health resources and information.

  • Encourage help-seeking behavior: Hearts 4 Minds wants to connect people with the support they need by highlighting their services and resources.

"We believe that mental health matters for everyone," said Sheryl Johnson, Founder of Hearts 4 Minds. "The #ChalkItUp4Life campaign is a creative way to break down barriers and encourage open communication about mental well-being. The beauty of using chalk is that it's a simple activity that anyone can participate in, from young children to adults. Together, we can create a community where everyone feels empowered to seek help and support."

Hearts 4 Minds encourages everyone to join the #ChalkItUp4Life campaign this May. Let's work together to create a mentally healthier community!
