Break the Stigma of Mental Illness

Mental Illness can happen to anyone. It could happen because of genetics, or a traumatic event. We don’t always know. What we do know is that it’s often treatable if the person afflicted gets help. However, 59% of those in the United States with a mental illness don’t get the help they need.

People don’t want to be associated with the mentally ill. They know there is a stigma, and they don’t want to be labeled as “crazy” or “nuts.” But what if there was no stigma. What if it was O.K.?
