Pro golf week ahead: Players begins awarding community grants; PGA Tour resumes in Napa - Florida Times-Union
Christmas has come early for more than 50 First Coast non-profit organizations.
The Players Championship announced that it has used proceeds from the 2024 tournament to award its Red Coats Community Grants, named for The Players "Red Coats," the past chairs who oversee the grant application process.
“The 2024 Red Coats' Community Grants embody the spirit of giving back to our community, and we are honored to support such a diverse group of organizations," said Kevin Robbins, the 2004 Players chairman who oversees the Red Coats' Community Grant Committee, in a statement. "These nonprofits are making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families across Northeast Florida, and we’re excited to see the positive impact these grants will bring."
